Trimethylsiloxyl Isocyanate(TMSI)

Advantage:

Trimethylsiloxyl isocyanate(TMSI) is a special mono-functional isocyanate, which contains not only reactive isocyanate functionality but also special functional silane group. After end capping and acidulating silane of low reactivity hydroxyl polyols by TMSI, high reactivity terminal hydroxyl polyols can be obtained.

Good compatibility of silane group in TMSI's molecular structure with low surface energy materials could modify materials' surface, and supply isocyanate group with high bonding performance, therefore significantly improve bonding performance for those hard bonding materials.

Application:

TMSI is colorless or slightly yellow transparent liquid, and irritating. It can be mainly used for polyol hydroxyl modification, hard bonding materials' surface treatment etc.
