Tetramethylxylene Isocyanate(TMI)

Advantage:

TMI is a special unsaturated aliphatic isocyanate with bi-functionality, and contains active NCO and isopropenyl. It can be mainly used for latex modification, special polymer synthesis, and applicable range is from surfactant to functional plastics and polyurethane foam. Low-viscosity prepolymer produced by the reaction between TMI and polyols or polyamide, which is easy to be filtered and possesses good fluidity. Compared with the existing system, it could shorten the reaction time, improve color scale, without effect on aging performance.

Application:

TMI can be used for latex modification, coatings, adhesives, single-component heat curable resin, plastic surface modification, foam, elastomer.
